| Resumen: | Over the past 12 years, the author has travelled all over Peru, conveying his knowledge of opthamology, science and his humanistic spirit to hundreds of thousands of Peruvians eager to receive such information and attention. A. voluminous, still unpublished manuscript, relates the heroic efforts carried out in 35 cities and towns along the coast, in the highlands and in the jungle between 1972-1984. With well-programmed and organished stays of just a few days is each town, Dr. Gonzales and his tea carried out meeting, conferences and round tables and also managed to attend to 14,043 (patients)with some sort of vision impairment. As an invaluable contribution to Peruvian pathology, four details of the reports are presented. Un voluminoso documento aun inédito cuenta de la heroica labor realizada en 35 ciudades o pueblos de la costa, sierra y selva desde 1972 hasta 1984. En estadías de pocos días, bien programadas y organizadas, el Dr. Gonzales y su séquito realizaron reuniones, conferencias, mesas redondas y lograron atender a 14,043 pacientes con alguna dolencia en la vista.
